JAPAN: Daikin is to devote $220m in a new household air conditioner manufacturing facility in the vicinity of the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.
The new plant at the Greenland Global Industrial Middle (GIIC) is portion of a JPY100bn ($711m) investment Daikin plans in Southeast Asia and India more than the upcoming four several years, in accordance to the Nikkei Asia.
The Indonesian plant is planned to get started operations in December 2024, making 1.5 million residential R32 air conditioners for every year.
