Blockchain refrigerant tracking tool in line for award


New Zealand HVAC&R specialist system CCCANZ has gained a nomination in the prestigious RAC Cooling Field Awards for its HVAC&R F-Fuel Collaboration Job, which takes advantage of blockchain methodology.

The group has been shortlisted in the “Environmental Collaboration of the Year” classification, which recognises the worth of partnerships and collaborations in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector to reach environmental aims and push innovation.

“The HVAC&R sector faces a major environmental problem in decreasing the world wide warming affect of superior world warming possible (GWP) F-gases, notably hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs),” CCCANZ claims.

Taking location on September 21 at the Grosvenor Ballroom in London, the RAC Cooling Industry Awards rejoice the achievements of the refrigeration and air conditioning field.
