Refrigeration and air conditioning tradesperson Lauren Campbell has taken out the leading state award for Apprentice of the Calendar year at the 2021 Queensland Instruction Awards, which this 12 months celebrates 60 years of excellence in schooling.
Campbell, from Manly West in Brisbane, was named as the winner of the Harry Hauenschild Apprentice of the Calendar year at a virtual awards ceremony. She was congratulated by Minister for Schooling and Expertise Growth Di Farmer.
“Lauren’s fascination in refrigeration began in 12 months 12 when she secured perform practical experience with A. G. Coombs in Queensland and went on to grow to be their 1st female apprentice,” suggests Farmer.
