Danfoss resumes business in Ukraine

DENMARK: Danfoss has announced that it is restarting enterprise routines in Ukraine following things to do had been brought to a halt in February when Russia invaded.

According to Danfoss, the restarted small business things to do will be centered on restoring significant infrastructure in destroyed metropolitan areas and towns.

“It is essential for us to carry on supporting our buyers in Ukraine,” reported Adam Jedrzejczak, president, Danfoss East Europe area. “It is not only the proper matter to do, but our merchandise are also key components for the essential infrastructure which needs to be rebuilt.”

In a letter to Serhii Anashkin, chairman of the Ukraine Refrigeration Association, Danfoss revealed that it experienced already shipped 18 pallets of JIP-style ball valves and filters to the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv for the repair service of leaks to the district heating community.

Most Ukrainian employees resolved to stay in Ukraine, but people were evacuated by the Danfoss disaster team. 

“As the safety level in most elements of Ukraine is bettering, workforce are starting up to go back again,” Danfoss has documented. 

At present, 40 Ukrainians – including 8 Danfoss staff – are in Poland. Sixteen Ukrainians are in Germany, 6 in Denmark, four in Spain, three in Slovakia and two in Austria.

“The protection and safety of our group remains our vital precedence, and in spite of uncertainties, it has been crucial for Danfoss to resume enterprise activities in the country as immediately as achievable,” Danfoss says. 

For now, Danfoss prospects can choose-up their products and solutions at what Danfoss describes as a cross-docking warehouse that has been set up in the town of Lviv.
