DiversiTech changes owners in $2.2bn deal


United states of america: Partners Group, a Swiss-based world-wide private fairness firm, has acquired US HVAC elements producer and supplier DiversiTech in a $2.2bn offer.

The acquisition will leave the British world-wide expense organization, Permira – which acquired the company in 2017 – and the current management led by CEO Andy Bergdoll as minority investors.

Launched in 1971 and headquartered close to Atlanta, Georgia, DiversiTech is North America’s premier company of machines pads and a main maker and provider of components and relevant merchandise for many industries. DiversiTech has 1,250 staff members across 20 places in the US, Canada, and the Uk. 

In August, the Companions Team acquired Reedy Industries, an Illinois-based team of HVAC and mechanical providers firms.

Andrew Oliver, Companions Group MD, personal equity merchandise & products and solutions, said it was convinced  of DiversiTech’s future expansion prospects “given the growing mounted foundation of HVAC products and the reoccurring need for the company’s vital areas and supplies”.
