SWEDEN: Heat pump maker Nibe has confirmed it is contemplating a probable acquisition of all or a vast majority of the Fujitsu Common air conditioning company.
The announcement by the Swedish corporation followed the latest information stories in the Far East naming it as one particular of the potential bidders for the company, alongside with investment firms KKR and Bain Capital.
Nibe stated that negotiations have been at an early stage and that there was no certainty that any deal would be created.
Fujitsu declared in January that it was in search of a rapid sale of its 42% stake in the business in a offer rumoured to be worth JPY140bn ($1.1bn). The other Fujitsu General shareholders consist of the Financial institution of Japan, JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs.
